During our stay at the Grand Hotel Ortigia, we experienced a mix of luxury and value that left us contemplating the overall financial proposition. The elegant Art Deco restoration of the hotel exuded a sense of grandeur, offering a taste of old-world charm in the historic old part of Ortigia.The spacious rooms, although initially concerning due to a musty smell and small size in our "deluxe" room, were quickly rectified by the accommodating staff who moved us to a stunning suite with beautiful marina views. The attention to detail and responsiveness of the team were commendable, showcasing a commitment to guest satisfaction.While the rooftop restaurant boasted breathtaking views of the city and port, the breakfast service was impeccable, set against a backdrop of a charming terrace. The convenient parking, alongside amenities such as laundry service and 24-hour reception, added practical value to our stay.if you are seeking a balance between luxury and financial prudence, Grand Hotel Ortigia offers a compelling option in Ortigia for a memorable Italian coastal experience.
